Grupos de Canadá y México participaron en el Primer Festival Internacional de Música Celta. Las actividades iniciaron el pasado viernes 21 de marzo con el tradicional Pub Crawl, un recorrido por distintos bares que terminó en el Murphy´s Irish Pub. Al día siguiente se realizó un desfile que recorrió el paseo turístico del malecón, desde la calle 31 de octubre hasta el teatro al aire libre Aquiles Serdán, donde las bandas participantes iban en su mayoría ataviadas con un kilt, la prenda típica de escocia. Las bandas participantes fueron la canadiense Edmonton Transit System, la Banda de Gaitas de la Asociación de Galicia en México y la agrupación mexicana Banda de Gaitas Batallón de San Patricio.
