El gobierno de Tlajomulco comenzó el pasado 9 de octubre las obras de la nueva Unidad Deportiva Lomas del Sur, la cual contará con espacios para el deporte extremo. La unidad tendrá muros para escalar, una skatopista y un área de Parkour, un deporte que consiste en la utilización del infraestructuras urbanas para moverse entre ellas. La unidad tendrá 50 mil metros cuadrados y además tendrá una cancha de futbol, áreas verdes, andadores peatonales, un sistema de riego y alumbrado público
