El gobierno de Cuquío, en colaboración con el Instituto Tecnológico Superior de Tala y la Fundación Caminos con Destino, llevaron a cabo una campaña de acopio de víveres para los damnificados del huracán Ingrid y la tormenta tropical Manuel que entregaron directamente a la población afectada. Del 24 de septiembre al 1 de octubre se entregaron un poco más de 2.5 toneladas de víveres que fueron entregados al centro de acopio de la Cruz Roja Guadalajara.
