Pihuamo también llevó a cabo las Fiestas Patrias 2013, en conmemoración de la Independencia de México. Del 12 al 15 de septiembre, los ciudadanos disfrutaron de eventos culturales, serenata y juegos de cucaña (palo encebado). Estas actividades se llevaron a cabo en el Jardín Independencia y el día 15 se dio el tradicional Grito.
