Después de varios años de haber sido solicitada esta obra por los vecinos de la colonia El Caracol, finalmente el gobierno comenzó con la construcción de la primera etapa de la Unidad Deportiva que tendrá una superficie total de 2.45 hectáreas. El objetivo de este espacio es brindar un servicio y facilitar la práctica de actividades deportivas y sociales.
