Con el objetivo de mejorar la movilidad en Puerto Vallarta, el Ayuntamiento ha llevado a cabo importantes obras de rehabilitación de calles. El más importante es el reencarpetamiento de la avenida Prisciliano Sánchez, en los tramos de las Moras hasta el ingreso a El Pitillal. También se estrenaron las obras de pavimentación en concreto de la calle Víctor Iturbe "Piruli”, que conectará a colonias como Volcanes, Joyas del Pedregal y 12 de octubre. Y el 15 de agosto pasado finalizó el reencarpetamiento asfáltico del puente de la calle Fidel Velázquez, el cual comunica el Pitillal con el Infonavit.
