La Secretaría de Gobernación del Gobierno Federal, a través del Instituto Nacional para el Federalismo y el Desarrollo Municipal entregó al gobierno de Autlán el Premio Nacional al “Desarrollo Municipal”, en una ceremonia realizada en Boca del Río, Veracruz. La distinción se le otorgó a este municipio por haber certificado el cumplimiento de los indicadores del programa “Agenda desde lo local” que tiene como propósito promover el desarrollo integral de los municipios.
