El pasado 17 de junio quedó abierto el nodo Ramón Corona que agilizará el tráfico de la zona sur del Área Metropolitana de Guadalajara. Esta obra vial beneficiará directamente a más de 400 mil habitantes que residen en los fraccionamientos cercanos a López Mateos y todo el municipio de Tlajomulco. El túnel vehicular consta de cuatro carriles, dos por cada sentido. Según los estudios, por aquí circulan 21 mil 700 coches por hora.
