El pasado 3 de agosto, la unidad deportiva de la cabecera Municipal, fue sede del Torneo Invitacional de Voleibol, que convocó a más de 400 jóvenes deportistas de los estados de: Michoacán, Nayarit, Colima, Zacatecas, Aguascalientes, Nuevo león, Sinaloa y Jalisco.
